Quick Time Events The game relies heavily on your ability to press buttons that flash on-screen for a few seconds to advance the storyline or finish off special enemies. A successful Golden Fleece counter glows and is extremely valuable in combat. Kratos has a Golden Fleece that allows him to deflect enemy attacks and even retaliate as long as you press L1 (block) just as the enemy makes contact. In Kratos' case, this is very often true. There is an in-game move list that you can consult to read up on some of the special attacks Kratos can perform with each weapon.ĭefense You've often heard that defense is the best offense. Kratos can perform both light and strong attacks that when alternately chained together can produce some devastating combos.
